
One of the most common questions I get asked regularly is, how can I improve my health? There are so many little things you can add into your life right now that can help change the way you feel and the way you see your life.
Here is my list in no particular order!
- Drink lots of water! Your skin, your brain, your digestion, will all improve and will be more efficient and effective if you do this.
- Get enough rest! Our brain can not regenerate without adequate sleep. Lack of sleep leads to cravings, depression, anxiety, and grumpiness. Do yourself a favor…. get enough sleep.
- Get outside in nature every single day. Just being outside with the trees, the fresh air, nature will improve your health…. come on try it!
- Move your body every single day. Your body wasn’t designed to sit still in a chair all day. Move around, walk, dance, shake, jump whatever makes you happy just move your body around.
- Retrain your mind to seek out the positives, instead of focusing on the negatives. This has been a game-changer for me. Not that I was a constant negative nelly but there have been times when you get stuck in a negativity rut and before you know it you seem to only notice the negatives. Now I consciously make a point of being grateful for the positives and when you start noticing the positives, more positives enter your life. Don’t believe me…. try it!
- Meditation before bed, this has helped me go from laying in bed tossing for over an hour to have me sleeping like a log in 15 minutes. Youtube has all kinds of free meditations available.
- Eat real food more often. A diet full of bright colors and loaded with vitamins gives energy, nutrition, and health. Eating good feels good and in turn, helps you look good. Win-win all around I say!
