There is no magic to weight loss

Everyone wants to know the magic trick to losing weight and keeping it off!  There is no magic pill, potion, shake, gimmick, or fad that will help you lose weight and keep it off.

The only way to be healthy, fit, and feel great for the rest of your life is to consistently eat real food and move your body more often.

That’s it!  That is your magic potion right there. EAT LESS,  MOVE MORE!

If I could bottle it I would be a millionaire. In all honesty, it takes consistency and time;  and in our current society of a fast pace and instant gratification, people want quick and easy.

The benefits though are worth it. Imagine having a body that you feel comfortable in. Imagine clear smooth skin. Imagine having the energy that carries you from morning till night without buckets of coffee, energy drinks, or sugar to get you there. Imagine having a properly functioning digestive tract. No more constipation or diarrhea or both depending on the day.

There is only one way to achieve all this and more; that is by eating high-quality food and consistently moving your body.

High-quality food you ask, what is high-quality food? Food that is fresh such as vegetables, fruits, lean meats, fish, nuts and seeds, lentils, beans, and whole grains such as brown rice, quinoa, bulgar.  Food in a box, package, or canned is not high-quality food. High-quality food rots because it lacks preservatives.  Preservatives are not good for your body and they don’t fuel your body. They leave you feeling hungry shortly afterward because your body is hungry for nutrients.

A healthy diet can’t be a fad or a quick fix, it is a lifestyle you follow for the rest of your life.  A lifestyle doesn’t mean you can’t have the wine or the cake. It simply means when you do have the wine and the cake you go back to a healthy diet afterward.
